MURAL IN THE INVESTMENT YARD
The mural is located in the vicinity of St. Adalbert's Hill, in the courtyard of the "Święty Wojciech 27" development investment. It adorns one of the walls of the outbuilding of a 19th-century tenement house. Its area is about 100 m ².
This is an unusual realization. What's so special about it? Before the plan to create the mural was conceived, an oil painting was created by the renowned artist Natalia Rozmus-Esparz, "Zakamarki Varenny". It is a continuation of the "Italian Style" collection, consisting of 10 works in the collection called "Italia". It was painted in oil technique on canvas, in this case - cotton with a thick weave. "Translating" such an image into a large format is a real challenge! Hence, the project is also unique on a national scale. The painting was transferred from an art gallery into the city space.
We had been involved in the patronage of the arts before. However, the mural is the first action that combines architecture and art directly in a development investment. “For many years we have been involved in supporting culture and art, we have organized concerts and we are the sponsor of the Poznań Philharmonic. We felt that we wanted to do more than build another building. We wanted to combine architecture with art and this is how the idea of transferring the painting on the building's wall was born. It was a valuable experience, we are happy with the end result, which the future residents are also satisfied with. We would like to thank the artists for their cooperation in this demanding project!
